We are careful to make responsible investments that create a positive social and environmental impact and contribute to solutions around sustainable cities, local economies, and climate change.
As we look to further integrate sustainability within our investment strategy, we are guided by the responsible investment approach and standards laid down by the Ageas Group.
We have a Responsible Investing Framework in place which is applicable to the entire investment portfolio based on three pillars, namely, exclusion of defined controversial activities, integration of ESG factors, and voting and engagement with investee companies.
For integration of ESG factors, we have engaged an external service provider to calculate the ESG score of an issuer. In case the ESG score is not available from the external provider, an internal framework is being used to assess the company’s ESG rating based on publicly available information.
We do not invest in any companies mentioned in our exclusion list, namely those dealing in Controversial Weapons, or where Financial Embargo has been applied, or which are Tax Havens.
While deciding on an investment, apart from risk and return analysis, ESG risk factors are also considered.
Our Stewardship Code acts as a guiding principle for the asset managers to exercise their stewardship responsibilities benefiting companies, investors and the economy as a whole.
We believe that commitment to work and performance is not linked to formal wear. Therefore, we follow a ‘wear what you want’ policy to keep things comfortable. Right from our dress code to our interactions.
